This new model is handcrafted using state-of-the-art optical technology and is a fast, comparatively compact wide-angle lens for full-frame sensors. The Nokton designation is only given to fast lenses in the Voigtländer range that have a maximum aperture of F1.5 or higher and, as usual, the lens offers manual focus and aperture adjustment. The aperture is set in one-third increments and the transmission of Exif information is guaranteed by the electrical contacts.
