1. if optical core is loose in housing or collimation changes (may require tapping lens alternately on the front and rear to see the change while evaluating) most likely the cam follower assembly (2 pieces: brass block and follower) are loose, bent or damaged. Quote replacements initially and remove from estimate if not needed after opening the lens.
