This version has the tricky-tricky serial ring that is glued on instead of screwed on that allows you to access and remove the front ring/sunshade assembly! Use a little acetone and a razor or thin spudger to pry it up.
re-collimate: 2 hrs
remove FER and sunshade/FR to expose lock ring. loosen, check condition of teflon washer underneath, replace teflon as needed, rotate front group. Secure LR with LOTS of glue. let set fully before rotating focus. LR can cause front group to shift. always double check collimation.
Coupling: $50 (unless additional dis-assembly is needed)
