Remove front hood: 1 hr
extend sunshade forward to reveal set screw. remove and unthread (normal) front optics to release sunshade. Front element lock ring covered by front most front ring. remove set screw (on ID) to unthread front most front ring and reveal front element lock ring. Front element has spacer and 2nd element underneath (no lock ring on 2nd element)
Slip focus scale: 3-5 hrs.
both front and rear optics need to be dropped out to access and adjust focus scale timing.
