Known Issues:
1. various issues when powering the system with 12/14V. It's significantly worse when using 12V and a lens that has a very heavy or stiff zoom. The issues go away when using 24V or any other style motor
2. CM55 is the digital version of the M26T. It has the lowest speed and torque levels. There are no built in speed/torque/noise level adjustments in this model. Any performance issues will require replacement internal motor.

There is not much to these so replacing parts is straightforward but has not built in adjustments.
Internal motor issues: 1 hr
replace internal motor. The internal motor does not include the encoder board which is soldered on.
To reduce time on this, order the motor as an assembly with the encoder already soldered on. Specify this on the PO. These are 2 different parts.

Encoder issues: 1 hr.
encoder can be replaced separate from the internal motor but needs to be soldered on. if both parts need to be replaced, 1 hour total is sufficient. see the above line with details on this.

Comparison:
CM55 is the digital version of the M26T. Expect the same results
