The legendary ZEISS Super Speed, celebrated for their rapid T1.3 aperture, have been a cornerstone in filmmaking since their introduction in the 1970s. These lenses have seen several updates, notably the MK II in the early '90s which replaced the triangular iris with a more conventional shape, followed by the MK III. The MK III enhancement adjusted the focus scale orientation by enlarging the font and rotating the engravings 90 degrees to ensure that focus marks appear upright when the lens is mounted. GLO has re-engineered these legendary lenses, eschewing all original mechanics. The Heliocoil design ensures that focus marks are evenly spaced, providing greater accuracy for longer focal distances.
