The 65mm has a bit of an “S” curve in the cam follower channels at the close end of travel (around the 4' mark), so a slight difference in focus feel is normal in this case.
Replace iris witness ring: 1 hr.
replacement custom engraves S/N. must return damaged ring to factory.
Replace front element: 1 hr.
Soft focus stop: 1 hr
focus stop has plasti-dip type coating. if flaking off, it can feel mushy
