<wrap note>can be removed without disassembling zoom section. exterior rings remove, focus carriage "legs" can be detached at helical instead of back of carriage (2 sets of 2 screws at each end of leg).\\
To access focus scale and focus witness ring: unscrew retaining ring just above focus scale to reveal screws in focus scale. can skip removing zoom and iris rings. 
to access zoom scale: skip rear housing, unscrew screws in iris to reveal screws underneath. continue to remove screws and rings to access zoom scale.</wrap>\\
Re-align rear optics group: **1 hr.**\\
<wrap note>rear S35 + FF/VV adapters have locating pin. if sitting on top of locating pin, image will be de-centered and not aligned in frame correctly. Will make iris and zoom uneven and heavy if not seated properly.  Do not need to re-lube iris.</wrap>\\
